What the !*%#@ is Hodgkin's?
Put simply, Hodgkin’s is a "lymphoma" that can spread locally from lymph node to lymph node and through the blood to the liver, lungs, spleen and bones.
If you want to get technical, it is a B-cell malignant disorder that affects the lymphatic system. Most cases arise from B-cells that cannot synthesize antibodies used by the immune system to identify and neutralize foreign objects like bacteria and viruses. Classical Hodgkin’s then spreads from one chain of lymph nodes to another.
